Press Relations
Press Relations provides an introduction to how an organisation can work with the journalists and thier editors across all media, Newspapers, Magazines, TV, Radio and of course online outlets, to best portray the organisation's image and reputation.
Press relations is part of the wider process of managing public relations. Niether Press relations or Public Relations should be viewed in isolation both are part of the Marketing tool set that an organisation can chose to deploy. PR is not a substitute for advertising or direct mail, it is not cheap or free advertising - it can however be a very cost effective way of ensuring that your customers are aware of your organisation and what it stands for.
